# Mads Caprani

> Mads Caprani is a Danish lighting designer. He trained as an electrician and then as an electrical engineer in Copenhagen, and worked for the lighting maker Louis Poulsen. The work includes floor lamps and table lamps. The series on Lofvi is Timberline. Denmark

In 1979 he took over his father's lamp factory, renamed it Caprani Light and built it into an international company whose best-known product is the Timberline floor lamp.
