# Mathieu Matégot

> Mathieu Matégot was a Hungarian-French designer and textile artist, born in Tápiósüly in 1910; he died in Angers in 2001. In the 1950s he was among the well-known designers working in France. The work includes shelving, accessories and lighting. Series on Lofvi include Satellite, Matégot and Tropique. The 13 designs come in 80 exact versions.
