About Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt

She first studied ceramics in Japan, then at the Danish School of Design in Copenhagen, and worked for years as a studio potter; her work is in the collections of Trapholt and Designmuseum Denmark. From her Copenhagen studio she now makes lighting from plexiglass discs, including the Coppia table lamp for GUBI.
